Isaac's Story...
Please apply at FIRST!
If you have pets, please be sure they are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations and heartworm prevention before applying. Thank you!

Isaac was another precious little guy used solely for breeding purposes to make the breeder money. Isaac was never walked, held or loved, just used. This precious boy wants nothing more than to be in your lap all snuggled up. He is absolutely adorable and so very loving. Isaac has learned to go for walks and enjoy the feel of grass beneath his feet. His little face is to die for! Isaac is now neutered/vaccinated, microchipped and ready for a new home and new life! Isaac is a very low key, chill dog little dog that just likes to be there to keep you company. Low energy, easy going.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Isaac, a Oakland Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Oakland, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Oakland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakland paves the way for another one to be saved.
