Hi I am Bianka! I am 9 weeks old and around 1.5 pounds. I tend to be shy at first however I warm up quick. I have learned what fun toys are and really like snuggling in my foster mom's lap. I will need a lot of patience to continue blossoming into the outgoing girl I am meant to be!
Here is my rescue story. We were living in a house with 20+ dogs my rescuer said they were something called hoarders. All I know is that Mom was scared and stressed but she took really good care of us and made sure no one hurt us and we had plenty of love and milk so we could grow healthy. These nice guys in uniform came and saved us and took us to Companion Animal Shelter in Baton Rouge. We had a nice kennel that we didn't have share with the other 20+ dogs just mom, me and 4 siblings. However, it was still quite loud and scary and Mom still was quite scared and stressed. So those nice people called Dana at Bark And Roll Rescue Companions and she came and got us right away and brought us to her house. Now we got a really nice kennel with lots of toys, warm bed, and tons of food (Dana thinks everyone needs to fatten up). Mom was still a scared and tried to "protect" us I tended to hide behind my brother and mom but it didn't take long before my sister Constance convinced me to come out and check out Dana. Guess what I found, she loves to hold and snuggle us. She plays with these cool things called toys and taught us how to play with them too. She also loves when we lick her fingers, and chew her hair even though she tells us it's not polite. I am still a bit shy around strangers but I am coming out of my shell a little more each day. Dana says I am all ears not exactly sure what that means but she loves to rub the inside of them and I love to fall asleep in her lap while she does it......so relaxing!
