Honey's Story...
Hi! . I came here all the way from Ohio, a VERY high kill pound. I am so thankful to be here and alive. I am a beautiful Shar-Pei/Boxer mix. I am only about 1-2 years old. I know how to sit and stay, and I like to shake paws. I came from the pound very very sick. I am now recovering slowly. I am looking for my new home now, so that when I feel better I can be adopted. I hope to have my new home before the holidays. better pictures will be posted of me when I am feeling better. The pictures posted now are from when I was in the pound. If you would like to apply for me now please do so. I really want my new forever home when I am better!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Honey, a Bay City Boxer/Shar Pei dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Shar Pei for sale in Bay City, or seeking a Boxer/Shar Pei dog from a breeder in Bay City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bay City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bay City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Shar Pei breeders who help with Boxer/Shar Pei rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bay City paves the way for another one to be saved.
