As if being lost and alone in the big city isn't bad enough, imagine being blind besides? That's what poor Ragamuffin was dealing with when he was found as a stray by our Newark facility. Little Ragamuffin was transferred to us at AHS/Popcorn Park and is now ready to start his search for a family that will never let him be in that position again. Ragamuffin was terribly neglected, matted, and was skin and bones when he arrived. He spent several weeks getting healthy and strong and now he's healthy, happy, and ready to move on. Ragamuffin is about 6 years old and this adorable little shih tzu is a spunky little guy that is very sweet and bonds with people quickly. He is very well behaved and walks perfectly on a leash, takes treats gently, and is housebroken too. Since Ragamuffin is blind, he isn't too keen on having his face touched, so a home with no children under 12 is recommended. He is otherwise a little lovebug that gets along fine with other dogs that do not cause him any grief. Ragamuffin would love to be your little lap dog and best friend if you'll give him the chance.
