Burburry's Story...
This beautiful girl is Burberry, a 2 year old black and white kitty that's ready for a place of her own. She came into the shelter VERY pregnant and had her babies shortly after her arrival. She was able to find a foster to take her while she raised her babies to be big and strong. Now that they have found homes of their own, it's time for her to find a family that will baby her! She is the SWEETEST and while she is a bit shy in a new environment and tends to hide in a corner while she adjusts to the new smells, it doesn't take long for her to feel at home. Before you know it, she's rubbing up against your leg, purring nonstop wanting you to give her lots of head, back, and chin scratches. She adores snuggle-time and is always happy to have a spot on the couch or in bed with you especially if she's getting lovins. She was fostered in a home with other kitties and a dog and did great! Burberry is microchipped, current on vaccines, and will be spayed once adopted. She's available at the Waggin' Tails Adoption Center in Benbrook, so come fall in love with this affectionate girl today! We're open daily from 12-6.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Burburry, a Benbrook Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
