My story

Hi, I'm Mia! You might think that means Missing In Action, and my foster mom would have totally agreed when I arrived- but not anymore! I am loving this life that Sunshine Canyon Dog Rescue has provided me. Since arriving here in Colorado I have really blossomed as an active and outgoing pup! I'm still pretty nervous with new things and loud noises, but my foster mom reassures me that my forever family will help me continue to grow and understand that I am safe with my family and don't have to worry about scary things anymore. I have been working hard on my house manners- I have mastered "sit" and even go in my crate when asked. I love playing fetch with a stick, am perfecting my cuddling skills and I'm even starting to enjoy walks around the neighborhood. If you're looking for a best friend that will make you smile with butt waggles every time you walk in the door, I'm your girl!
