Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Disney (aka Dizzy)! Dizzy is about 2-3 yrs old and weighs about 25 lbs. Dizzy came to us from Animal Rescue Corps Operation Mayday 2. He was rescued from a situation where he was living outside on a chain. This poor boy has had a rough start in life and now he is looking for a new beginning. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body, but he is incredibly timid and nervous. He loves other dogs of all sizes and we will require he be placed with another confident, well adjusted dog that can help show Dizzy the ropes. His new family will need to be patient and work on building his confidence. He has been doing well with his house training. We think Dizzy would do best in a home without young children. Dizzy would do best living in an area that is fairly quiet and without a lot of hustle and bustle. He would greatly benefit from going to classes for shy and fearful dog. Adopters experienced with fearful dogs preferred, but not required if adopter is willing to attend classes. Dizzy's adoption donation of $200 helps cover the cost of his vetting.
Application, reference checks, and home visit required. Adopters must live 1.5 hours driving distance from Romeoville, IL. For more information on adopting, please email us at info@perfectpooches.org.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website at www.perfectpooches.org under the Adoption Process tab. All dogs are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm tested (age appropriate), fecal tested and/or dewormed, and microchipped.
