My name is Mimi but my mom calls me Louise. My sister Peluza (aka Thelma) and I are so confused. Our person took us to Chicago Animal Care & Control because we weren't wanted anymore and no one seems to know why. Thankfully, we were scooped up by a loving hand from CPR Fund before we became just another number in a shelter with over 300 animals that need homes. We are now in a foster home where we are healing from our spay surgeries and just getting used to being wanted and loved. Peluza and I are 2 year old sisters who are house trained, crate trained and anxious to learn new things like sit, stay and how to walk while on a leash. We are pretty quiet until we meet new people, then we get all excited. If you go slowly with us we'll be more confident with getting to know you. I am the more confident one of the two of us, but Peluza warms up to new people quicker. We don't have to go to the same home, but we would sure like to so we can play together. We promise to be good girls so we never have to go to the shelter again. Please consider adopting one or both of us so our foster Mom can help rescue another one of the hundreds of animals in need of a home. For more information about me please contact my foster mom at Or visit and fill out an adoption application today!

All CPR Fund's adoptable dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on preventative, spayed or neutered and microchipped.

About CPR Fund

About Our Rescue Group...

The CPR Fund is an all-volunteer network of foster homes dedicated to rescuing adoptable dogs from local animal control facilities' "Death Row." Once given "clemency," all dogs are taken into our homes, vetted, spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, crate-trained (or started), housebroken (or started), and given whatever else they might need, especially the love and attention they truly deserve.
