Facts about Carrie

  • Color: Red/Golden/Orange/Chestnut
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female

When we took Carrie into our rescue, she was obese with horribly infected ears and terrible teeth. Her foster mom has been an excellent weight loss coach and Carrie is now down to a healthy weight. She had surgery on her ear to remove a tumor that could have cost her her hearing. Her ear is now healed and the ear infections are gone. She has had extensive dental work done and her teeth and mouth are in much better shape. Her true personality is shining bright now that she feels so much better. She prefers two legged humans, including children, to four legged canines. She will need a forever home where she is the only dog and she will need her ears and weight consistently monitored. Carrie is on a special diet that will need to be maintained that keeps her skin healthy. She is a wonderful senior lady that should have several more years of love left to give.
