Facts about Spitfire
Breed: Domestic Longhair/Domestic Shorthair Mix
Color: Black (All)
I am already spayed.
Spitfire is an adorable 3 month old female orange and black tortoiseshell Domestic Longhair cat.
She is currently in foster care, will be available for adoption toward the middle of August, and can be pre-adopted now!
Spitfire is GORGEOUS! She has the tiniest little dot of tan in her chin amidst the black. She is going to be fluffy too! She loves to leap out at the other kittens when they least expect it with her front paws held wide apart as she leaps in the air. Sooooo cute!! She is not afraid but she is very cautious, and will hide from time to time. She is micro-chipped, current on all vaccinations, and will be spayed before she finds her forever home.

Founded in 1998, Cat’s Cradle seeks to end euthanasia of healthy adoptable cats and dogs in Shenandoah Valley through aggressive spay/neuter of owned animals and TNR (trap/neuter/release) of feral cats.
We also have a network of foster parents and an active adoption program for cats. In 2009 we opened an adoption center in Harrisonburg. We do not euthanize for space.
Please visit our website at: www.catscradleva.org for more information.
Come Meet Our Pets...
We show our cats at PetSmart in Springfield, VA on most 1st and 3rd Saturdays, at the PetSmart in Harrisonburg, VA on some Saturdays and some Sunday afternoons, and at the Petsmart in Waynesboro on Saturdays. We also show cats at our adoption center at 124 S Main St. in Harrisonburg 11-6 M-F, and 11-5 Sat and 11-4 Sunday.
Please visit our website: www.catscradleva.org for other adoption events and hours for showings or call the adoption center at 540-433-1135.
Our Adoption Process...
Please see our website: www.catscradleva.org for a copy of our adoption application and adoption contract. Adoption fees vary, but generally run around $135.
All our cats are spayed or neutered before adoption, and fully vetted. We have an adoption center in Harrisonburg, but we also make extensive use of foster homes until adoption.
We generally prefer indoor only homes, and our contract specifies that the cat(s) will not be de-clawed.
We have some cats that cannot be adopted into an indoor situation. For these, we seek safe barn or out-building locations.
Humane America Animal Foundation, dba Adopt-a-Pet.com, is a non-profit, tax-deductible 501(c)(3) adoption advertising charity. Our mission (and passion) is to help
