In July, Denise and two other dogs were abandoned at the SPCA when we were closed. Our volunteers arrived to find them huddled in one of our outside kennels. They were very scared but happy to see us. Denise is a sweet, girl who absolutely loves people and other dogs. When Denise arrived we noticed she couldn't open one of her yes, we thought she had an old eye injury so we took her to vet. After his exam, he determined she didn't have an eye on that side but couldn't tell us how this might have happened. When she is spayed, we will have the vet determine the best course of action to prevent any problems in the future. Denise may only have one eye but her heart is as big as the great outdoors. All she wants is to be loved. Please give this special girl a chance!
