Sherlock~~ADOPTED's Story...
Hello, My name is Sherlock. I am the brother to Delina. I am a short haired tiger boy about 1 years old only. I was rescued from death. You see, I was a stray and I was waiting for room to open, many of my brothers and sisters parished sadly, but thankfully I was able to hold on long enough. I am now here and very healthy. I have had my intitial vet care done. I am very friendly and I love to be held, and I am a purr machine! I get along very well with other cats also! I love people and I love to play! I am litter trained too! I have the prettiest eyes, and I am just an all around special little kitty! Anyone that adopts me will be very very lucky. I do excellent around kids, dogs and other cats. I have been in rescue now for some time with my sister, we both need homes. Won't you find it in your heart to adopt one of us (or maybe both!!) today?

If interested in adopting Sherlock please go to www.fewstepsfromhome.homestead.com to fill out an adoption application.

We need donations for vet care and also cat food. Please help us care for these animals.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sherlock~~ADOPTED, a Bay City Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bay City, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bay City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bay City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bay City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bay City paves the way for another one to be saved.
