Facts about Mouse

  • Breed: Calico
  • Color: Calico Or Dilute Calico
  • Age: Kitten
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Mouse is a soft, beautiful, calico featuring tan and black spots on glossy white fur. She was the 1st of 7 kittens born in a loving Foster's home on Sunday, May 21, 2017.
Mouse loves to wrestle and climb as well as sleep in your lap and enjoy your snuggles. She's shaping up to be a true lap cat!
Mouse is marked as special needs because she has a condition known as Mega Colin. It has a relatively simply surgical fix. And when she is old enough for the surgery, BTKR will provide that assistance.
When she was younger, she had a lazy eye. But that seems to be correcting itself with time.
Mouse is adventurous, playful and friendly.
At 2 weeks of age, Mouse and her siblings became orphans. Thankfully another mama cat had enough love in her heart and milk in her body to take on Mouse and her siblings, giving them a chance at life.
Mouse's life is a miracle. She has been such a joy to know and love! Come meet her and prepare yourself to fall head over heels.
Billy the Kidden Rescue is asking for a $100 donation to help put a dent in her vet costs: full vaccinations, including Rabies, spay, various health appointment and meds, including the standard wormer treatments and her future colin surgery.
Contact BTKR to fill out an Adoption Questionnaire and make an appointment with Mouse's foster to meet her in person.

About Billy the Kidden Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

The mission of Billy the Kidden Rescue is to improve the lives of displaced cats and kittens, and reduce feral cat populations in Hampton Roads, by socializing outdoor-born and unwanted kittens for adoption into forever homes.
We specialize in TNR (Trap/Neuter/Return) and feral kitten socialization. We provide "working cats" to farms, barns, breweries, warehouses, vineyards, and other places. We also help with lost cats and kittens, long term fostering, SELECT rehoming situations, cat behavioral and nutritional advice, and infant kitten rescue.

Donate to Our Rescue Group...

Donations can be made to our Pay Pal account at or can be sent via mail to Billy the Kidden Rescue, PO BOX 16919, Chesapeake, VA 23328.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our pets are available for Meet and Greets at their various fosters homes or at our cattery at Pups n Stuff in Virginia Beach for fosters who do not show animals in their home. Appointments must be scheduled in advance and a Board Member must approve all adoptions.
At Pups n Stuff, you can come see some of our ready to go adoptables. It is at 4330 Holland Rd. in Virginia Beach. The Store hours are Tu-Sat 12:00 - 8:00pm and Sundays 12:00 - 6:00pm Closed on Mondays. We do not have cattery staff on hand during all business hours. However if you let us know you are going we can be sure a staff member is there to meet you, so you can go in the cattery and play with the kitties! If you do go during a time when we aren't there you can look at the kitties through the window and pick up some of our information, but will have to come back actually play with them. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Our Adoption Process...

We have an adoption questionnaire to learn a bit about the home our rescue animals will be going to and the family's motivation for adoption and expectations about pet ownership. We also have an adoption contract, which includes a no declawing and indoor only clause. Our adoption fees range from $25 to $130, depending on vetting costs. Our Career Cat adoption fee is $25. Our adoption fee for adults, vetted rehoming cases, special needs, and kittens over 6 months is usually $50- $75. Most kittens have an adiption fee of $100 if not microchipped and $130 if microchipped. Sometimes we require rental checks or home inspections. We always have a Meet n Greet to make sure everyone gets along. We encourage bringing the whole family, especially the furry members.
