Roscoe, a 10-year-old Beagle, is a lazy lap dog. He is very dominate and makes sure that other male dogs are aware, but he is compatible with some females. After a get-acquainted period, he gets along with cats. Rosco doesn’t play like many dogs, but he sometimes thinks it’s fun to chase. He needs to be left alone when eating, and his water intake has to be monitored because he tends to drink too much. Like most Beagles, he will follow a scent trail so he needs a securely fenced yard, and he needs to be on a leash. He is house trained and kennel trained.
Roscoe qualifies for our Seniors for Seniors discount if his adopter is at least age 65.
The suggested adoption donation for Rosco is $200, which is TAX DEDUCTIBLE, and goes toward providing supportive services to animals in the home, as well as the high cost of vetting our dogs in rescue. If you would like to welcome Rosco into your home, please begin by submitting our Adoption Application. The adoptions for all of our dogs will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver the dogs.
