Ada's Story...
Petite and pretty Ada is a Shih tzu / Poodle mix who is 3 years old. She came from a situation where she had little to no human interaction in her past but has been pampered and loved in her foster home -- now starting to understand love as well as playtime! Ada will be making her debut on SUNDAY at Pet Club, 9325 E Shea Blvd in Scottsdale (if not adopted sooner). Adoption event is 11am-2pm, but dogs arrive at staggered intervals between approx 11 and 11:30 depending on the transporter's timing. This very sweet girl who is hypoallergenic / non-shedding, is also housebroken but will need to be taught the rules and where-to's in her new home. She must be an indoor dog and have a home with an enclosed and safe yard. Adoption fee for Ada is $380. She is spayed, vet checked, vaccinated, and microchipped. Come and meet her Sunday! You may also request an adoption application in advance by emailing adopt@PWrescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ada, a Phoenix Poodle (Miniature)/Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature)/Shih Tzu for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature)/Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature)/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature)/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
