My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gretchen is a unique looking 5 year old Boxer/Shepherd mix. She was surrendered to Friendship because she was killing the family chickens. Gretchen got along fine with the 2 other dogs in the family. She should not be placed with small animals or cats. Her owner recommends older kids too due to her anxious nature. She has been very timid since her arrival. Gretchen is a little head-shy of petting and does best if you don't approach head-on but more from the side . She likes to run out of the yard when given the chance. This girl will definitely require a fenced yard. She's a good dog but needs the right fit.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
