Hello, I'm Prince!! I am a very handsome guy (with a bit of a goofy haircut... oof) searching for a HOME!!! I can be a bit hesitant around new people, but boy oh boy once I know you?? Well, once I know you, I love to cuddle! I can often be found curled up on my favorite shelter human, Naomi, and I greet her every day by running up to her and jumping into her arms! What's great about our relationship is that she never pushed me to be more affectionate than I was comfortable with, which is why I'm such a snugglebug now!

My dream future home is pretty calm and quiet. I like to have a place of my own without a lot of traffic; I may be small but I do think it is a priority to protect my home and people from outsiders. My previous owners - this is my second time in the shelter - expected a little too much of me. The first had little kids that didn't treat me with the respect I deserve. They pulled my tail and pulled at my ears and wouldn't stop. I don't trust children, period, and I don't want to live with them. Adults only please. My second family was much better, however, I wasn't on my best behavior when they had visitors. When given the opportunity, I'd chase them out of my house, quite aggressively. I prefer my one or two people, and I really don't mind being left home alone, and could possibly be put in my own room if you do have a visitor. I know I'm adorable, but that doesn't mean I want everyone to kiss me upon first meeting,

I feel as though other dogs are mocking me, and would prefer to not mingle with them, after all, my main job is to protect my people. I've heard about cats... they might be alright.

I'm really good at helping Naomi do her job. I keep people away from her office door when she is really busy, and sometimes I help her type when she lets me sit on her desk. I've also done the occasional shredding when she hasn't left anything else for me to do. But, honestly, I nap and throw my toys around. If you worked from home, we could have quite the business!

If it sounds like we could be a good fit, please come meet with me? I'm such a sweet boy, and I'm looking for a special home -- is that you?
