My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lilly is a one year old chihuahua mix that was found wondering the streets of Vegas. She was brought to the local kill shelter where they discovered she had a bad heart. They didn't put her up for adoption for that reason. Our rescue stepped up to help this sweet baby. I picked Lilly up from the shelter and that same week we had an appointment with the cardiologist. Lilly had heart surgery to fix her heart and she is doing extremely well! Lilly's heart is still enlarged and we hope that it will go down. Lilly is gonna need extra special care with her heart. She will need an ultrasound around November/December to make sure her heart is staying healthy. After that, she might not need them every 6 months, she might only need them once a year. That is something to take into consideration when thinking about adopting her. Her breathing has to be monitored daily also. Her cardiologist is willing to sit down with you to go over her care. She will need follow ups at least yearly with her cardiologist. Lilly's heart doesn't stop her from being a normal dog. She loves to play with my dogs and has the sweetest personality. She's a real pleasure to have around the house. She's been through so much in her short life so far. She deserves someone who will love her forever. Someone is going to be very lucky to have her in their life. She's the best lap dog too! She's up to date on her shots, spayed microchipped.
