Ava is a gorgeous girl, between 2 & 3 years old and is a sweet as they come. Poor Ava wound up in a very overcrowded shelter with a wicked case of mange. Nobody wanted to adopt her so we rescued her instead. In the few weeks that she has been in Foster Care, the mange is totally under control and Ava's fur is growing back in. She's a very happy girl and if you'd like to adopt her, please see the instructions below.
** PLEASE NOTE **
You must be at least 23 years old to adopt. You have to fill out an adoption application before we can discuss any of our dogs or puppies with you so we know as much about you as possible. Almost all of our dogs and puppies have pre-approved adopters so apply as soon as possible. The application is at http://www.joshuafundrescue.org/adoptionapplication
Since we are a Rescue located many states away from where the dog originates, we know nothing more about the dog than is stated in the above description. We arrange to have every dog vaccinated, spayed/neutered, treated for any condition they may have and IF they have heart worm, it is treated at the Vet near the shelter of origin. Our dogs and puppies are either in foster care or at a boarding facility for their mandatory 21 day quarantine period; longer if they are receiving heart worm treatment.
