Maverick's Story...
Hey folks! Maverick here! I am a ten month old shepherd mix who is fun, active and in the market for a great loving home! I am SUPER smart and I really want to learn all kinds of new tricks and games. I am eager to please and will be a blast to train! I am a great size at just about 40 lbs!
I love going for walks and I am great with other doggies! I am looking for a home that wants to share my love of the outdoors and my passion for play. I would like a family with no kids under ten just because sometimes I get a bit startled.
So are you the one who wants to share trips to the beach, the park and the mountain with me? Bring your other doggy? Absolutely! We can roll around and have a blast for years to come!
I am fixed, vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $180

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maverick, a Portland Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Portland, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
