My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rose showed up in a front yard and wouldn't leave even after a week of not being encouraged to stay. She kept hitting at the door trying to get inside. A rescue group was alerted and when they picked Rose up she was very hungry and very skinny. She is now very happy to be indoors in a foster home with love and plenty to eat and drink.

Rose's foster mom calls her "overall, a beautiful little sweetie." Rose is sociable and fearless, not afraid of meeting new people. She purrs when her foster mom picks her up to put her in her lap. However, she seems a little nervous at times of having her head petted and will swat. Rose loves her toys and loves to play. She can be a bit enthusiastic at times with the back leg bunny kicks, so we suggest either an adult-only home for Rose or one with cat savvy older kids. There are other cats in her foster home. At this time she hisses when they sniff under her door. She may do best as an only kitty, but might learn to live with another cat in time.

Rose has been vet checked and is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. She has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. She has a healthy appetite and is very good about using her litter box.
