Meet sweet little Patti! This gentle, mellow love-bug is looking for a home with someone who loves to snuggle and give belly rubs. Patti is a very smart little girl who is learning how to live in a house in warp speed! She is picking up potty-training wonderfully and rarely has accidents, she does well at night in her kennel, and has learned how to sit for treats in just a couple of tries. This precious puppy thrives on human affection and gentle direction. She follows her foster mom everywhere, quietly and patiently laying at her feet (or in her lap), waiting to see what's next.
Patti, along with her brother Prince and sister Penny were found as tiny pups huddled together in the middle of a rural highway, where they had been dumped and left for a terrible fate. However, these special pups must have been destined for a special purpose! A human angel came upon them and miraculously was able to stop her car in time; she scooped them up and took them to a rescue where they were lovingly nursed back to health and cared for.
Patti is a little uncertain at first, but quickly warms up to everyone once she knows she is safe; this little lady comes out of her shell more and more everyday! Patti is very gentle with people, and has been around children of all ages and does very well with them. She has adjusted very quickly to a very noisy, busy foster home. Patti loves other dogs and plays very sweetly (in fact, we think she would do best in a home with another social dog to show her the ropes and play). She also does very well with cats and has never tried to chase the senior and kitten in her foster home. Patti is a loving, innocent, gentle soul and will make a WONDERFUL companion!
Patti was rescued from Southern Oklahoma and came to Dolly's Legacy looking to find a better life. We are proud to be a part of her journey to find the forever family she deserves.
Patti appears to be a petite Lab mix, weighs 28 lbs and an estimated birthday of 1/18/17. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative and dewormed. Adoption fee is $300. The FIRST step is to have you complete our online adoption application. All adoption appointments are scheduled AFTER your application has been approved. Preference is given to those with a verifiable veterinary reference, home ownership & fenced yard, although generally not required. Home ownership is verified through court records. If you are a renter, you must provide landlord contact information.
