Spring's Story...
Spring was originally brought in stray, never reclaimed by an owner then finally adopted. Her adopters had to bring her back due to not being fully housetrained, it seemed to only be an issue when she was left alone. She would also jump onto the counters and pull stuff down if she was left unattended. The adopters tried a crate, unfortunately she was a Houdini and escaped her crate which lead to more unruly behavior. She may have some separation anxiety going on and that why she is acting out. Spring is about 3 years old, already spayed and a people lover! She does know basic commands and walks well on leash. Despite all the issues- she has wonderful potential if given the chance. Spring is going to require some work but nothing that isn't doable. If you would like to give this sweet girl another chance at a forever home, stop in and ask to meet her today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spring, a Troy Mixed Breed (Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mixed Breed (Medium) for sale in Troy, or seeking a Mixed Breed (Medium) dog from a breeder in Troy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Troy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Troy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mixed Breed (Medium) breeders who help with Mixed Breed (Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Troy paves the way for another one to be saved.
