About Our Rescue Group...

SOCA - FBC is a non-profit, 501c3 organization run solely by volunteers. SOCA - FBC works with local veterinarians to provide medical care for sick/injured animals of Fort Bend County and partners with Fort Bend County Animal Services (FBCAS) that are not taken in by local rescue groups. SOCA - FBC gathers donations to provide supplies and medicine for the animals. SOCA - FBC holds adoption events and fundraisers. Whether it is by locating the owners, adopting, fostering, or obtaining a rescue, SOCA - FBC does everything possible to find FURever homes for all of our animals.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Most of our Pets are in Foster homes. You can meet them once you have an approved application on file by scheduling an appointment or join us for one of our many meet and greet events. Adoption event details are on our Facebook page under Events.

Our Adoption Process...

With an approved application, applicants are considered for the pet they have applied for. Our goal is to make the best match for both the adopting family and the pet. Applications are not considered on a first come first served basis. Following an initial meet and great, potential adopters must pass a home inspection and sleepovers are strongly encouraged to ensure a perfect fit. Upon approval, the adoptive family is required to pay an fee and sign an adoption contract. Fees vary by animal and age and include spay/neuter, current vaccines, microchip and many wonderful years of companionship.
