My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking to add a little gold to your life? This sweet girl may be just the one for you. Glory is a 2 year old, 85 pound golden retriever who is looking for someone to love. She had a rough start in life when she was put outside at only 4 months old. She’s lived all that time out in the heat and cold. But now, she has fallen in love with air conditioning. She loves to be inside with her family. She was never taught any manners and anyone who knows goldens, knows that they need some rules in their life. She is a quick learner though. She has mastered housebreaking and knows sit and shake so far. The ideal home for her would be one that could spend a lot of time with her and get her out of her shell. She needs to learn to trust people and learn what love is. She would be great for a family with older kids because, being a typical goofy golden, she doesn’t realize she is big. Or she would make a great companion for someone who loves the great outdoors but also wants to chill out on the couch. She is a great girl looking for a great forever home!

**All Compassion in Action dogs must be adopted by families willing to have their pets be a part of their family and must be allowed inside—especially at night. No dog is allowed to be put on a “tie-out” or chain outside and should be walked on a leash when not in a fenced yard.

**All Compassion in Action dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on all vaccinations prior to adoption.
