Sue Ellen's Story...
I am a very pretty Siamese tortie point mix, spayed female. The vet said I am approximately 10 years old. I am a petite girl and weigh 8.8 lbs. I am up-to-date on my shots, including feline leukemia since I was an indoor/outdoor cat and have received the shot in the past.

As the volunteers at Safe Place get to know me, they will update you on my personality. For now, they know that I am friendly, loving and enjoy attention. I lived with a dog before I came to Safe Place.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sue Ellen, a Colorado Springs Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Colorado Springs, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Colorado Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colorado Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colorado Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colorado Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
