Like your favorite fruits of summer this puppy will make you smile!

If you are looking for some fun refreshment to enhance your summer,

Meet Citrus!

Citrus is a 8 month old, male, neutered husky/collie mix with stunning markings that weighs 44 lbs.

He has the most adorable, outgoing, goofy personality EVER!

Citrus loves everyone, other doggies, kitties, and kids!

He loves to chase balls, play with stuffed toys, and sleep with all four feet in the air.

Citrus was pulled at the very last minute from a very high kill shelter, his foster mom saw him and could not leave him there alone.

He is neutered, UTD on all vaccinations, and micro chipped and HW negative.

If you are interested in meeting this striking guy, please complete an application on our website and his foster mom will be in touch.

About Legacy Humane Society

About Our Rescue Group...

Our Purpose is:

To rescue adoptable dogs and puppies from animal shelters and animal control facilities

To rescue dogs and puppies from abusive and neglectful situations, including puppy mills and "backyard breeders"

To help educate the public on proper animal care and promote spaying and neutering of all pets

To provide medical treatment for animals in our care

To provide foster homes for animals in our care

To place rescued animals in permanent, loving homes

To build and maintain a facility to house rescued animals and host adoptions.

Come Meet Our Pets...

To meet our pets, contact us about any dog/puppy you are interested in and we'll set up a meeting time/date between the adopter and foster home.

Our Adoption Process...

Adopters will complete an adoption app. If he/she has a pet, we will check their vet reference and a home visit is not needed (as long as the vet reference is current). All pets must be UTD , current on HW prev and S/N. If a home visit is needed we will compele that ASAP--as we don't want any delays in the adoption process. The adoption fee is $200 for dogs ad $250 for puppies. We spend an average of $300 on each dog/puppy, so the adoption fee helps pay for the vetting for future dogs we bring into the program. Their is a 5 day grace period to make sure he/she is a good fit for your family.
