Rex was rescued from a vet in Tijuana. The vet found him in the streets and his leg was missing - probably due to being hit by a car. The TJ vet picked him up and brought him to his clinic to amputate his leg. Sweet and friendly Rex has been living mostly in a pet carrier in the vet’s office for the last couple of months as he recovered with no one to play with an no access to other dogs. He’s only known the streets and the vet’s office, but is still so loving and playful. He knows commands and listens well under a firm leader, but has some leftover behavioral issues from when he live dint he streets as a "scrappy" pup. He does know sit, stay, focus, come, etc. He's definitely a sweet boy who loves a good cuddle, but a work in progressand has already come a long way in foster care!
Rex would do best w/someone who can devote the time to loving him, playing w/him and strong individual who could work on his behavior.
