My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

TEQUILA: Tequila was only 18 months-old when he was rescued from an abandoned lot that was strewn with hazardous discarded waste. Easily trapped because of his hunger, he was thankfully deemed healthy and combo-negative. Tequila began to lash out and stopped eating just a few weeks into his first stay indoors. He then was brought to a maintained barn, where he did well initially, but eventually began hiding under shelves. Because it was difficult to keep track of his well-being, Tequila returned to his original foster home, but this time was able to roam free in a spare bedroom. He immediately took to the sunny window seat, shed his matted long fur, and began to enjoy having human servants! Tequila would still hiss if approached by humans, but clearly enjoyed the company of other felines. That’s when he was introduced to his “girlfriend”, Patches! Tequila is now 2.5 years-old, handsome and fluffy, and he is happy to be around both cats and dogs.

TEQUILA AND PATCHES, DYNAMIC DUO: Tequila and Patches became best friends within days! Their foster mom describes them as yin and yang because they bask in the sun and cuddle together. Both are about two years-old and would do best if adopted together. They are shy with humans after being street survivors, but both have clean litter box habits and are appreciative of their toys and cat trees. Tequila and Patches are in good health and love dry food and a little canned food twice a day. They love other animals and have lived in a house with both cats and dogs.
