KJ hit the Pound Puppy Lotto when a shelter volunteer fell in love with him and decided to foster him herself for our rescue. We think he is some sort of hound/terrier mix, and judging from the current size of his paws, he will be a large dog when full grown. KJ is a wonderful, easy-going pup who loves to play, but is also perfectly content to just lay and chill out. He's great with other dogs, and we'd like him to go to a home with another dog so that he has a playmate. Since KJ is still a puppy, having another dog in the home will also be beneficial for his ongoing socialization. He hasn't been around cats or kids yet, so we can't be sure how he'd do. However, due to his expected large size, a home with older kids (over age 8) would probably be best since he could likely knock over small kids with his playful exuberance. KJ is working on house training and is learning quickly. He dislikes the crate, which is understandable since he was in a shelter for a while, but he does tolerate being crated when no one is home. KJ sleeps like an angel on a dog bed in the human bedroom. He's a typical puppy that hasn't grown up into his body yet: he's very clumsy! KJ is a sweet, wonderful puppy who will give a smooch on command to whoever is lucky enough to adopt him!
