8-28 Update: Tulip is doing great! She is playful with her foster homes resident dog and is just an all our great girl. She is young, most likely about a year and a half. She is potty trained and is crate trained. Her 2 most favorite things to do are to sit outside patiently watching the squirrels jump from tree to tree hoping one falls... and while inside, she just wants to sit on your lap. She enjoys curling up in a little ball and sleeping on your lap as well. She would be a great companion for a Senor! She walks well on leash. She weighs only 28 lbs yet has a large loving personality. ----------------------------------------------------------------Please meet Tulip. She is Trixie's Mom. We are sure little Tulip would have a story to tell. She wandered onto a good samaritan's lawn with her two 5 week old sons. Eith days later, her two daughters wandered onto the same woman's lawn. What happened to this family? Did Tulip have her pups in the wild or was she dumped out with her newborns? In any event this little girl is the sweetest little dog imaginable! Everyone who has met her absolutely loves her! We feel she is probably about a year old herself. She exhibits some puppy behavior that her foster home is working to correct. She is completely potty trained and is crate trained. She knows the command "sit" however can be stubborn, waiting for you to give in! LOL She walks well on leash and is current on all vaccines. Tulip loves to play with toys either with you or she can occupy herself with toys. She loves to be pet and sit on your lap. She weighs only 27 lbs...just the right size for a lap dog. She is also fine with other dogs. To be through so much especially at such a young age is heart wrenching!
