Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Name: Sandy
Sex: Female
Breed: Mixed Breed
Age: 2 yrs old
Weight: 38 lbs
Good with: Dogs, people, children and cats
Hello, my name is Sandy. My friends at STAR rescued me and my puppies. My puppies were really cute and I made sure they all went to great homes of their own. Now I’m ready for mine.
So many things make me happy: romping around, playing with squeaky toys, chewing on my frozen Kong, cuddling with my foster mom. Have I told you how much I love treats? They are so delicious! I am happy to sit and give my paw if it means I get more treats.
My foster mom is pleased with my potty skills and calls me “reliable,” whatever that means. I am getting quite confident at walking on a leash and I will even walk with people who once made me a little nervous.
My mom is taking me out and about a lot and I am learning to love people more and more. Everyone is so nice to me! And KIDS! They are great….I just can’t get enough of them! I LOVE playing with other dogs and I’m OK with cats, too.
I am a super sweet, playful dog who cannot wait for someone to teach me new tricks. I just want to make everyone happy and do the right things. Do you have a couch I can snuggle on with you???
