Frannie is a young, medium-sized female who is about 2-years-old and around 50 pounds. She is a playful dog with lots of energy who loves water and chasing balls. Frannie is also very smart and responsive to training. She would do best in an active home with kids and/or other dogs that like to play as much as she does. If you are interested in meeting this bright young girl, please stop by the Corning Animal Shelter at 4312 Rawson Rd, Sat-Sun 9am-2pm; call us at (530) 824-1985; or apply online at www.secondchancepetrescue.org.

Adoption fees range between $50 and $150, depending on the age and size of the dog. Spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, flea treatment, dewormer, and microchip are all included.

Prospective adopters must agree to a home visit, have secure fencing and allow their dog to sleep inside at night. Those coming from out of town may submit a vet reference in place of a home visit. All renters need landlord approval.

If you already have a dog or two, they must be spayed/neutered and brought to the shelter for a meet and greet. Homes that already have more than two dogs, or any unaltered dogs, will not be considered.

Exceptions to these rules may be made in special circumstances.

To get started, please stop by the shelter at 4312 Rawson Rd in Corning Sat-Sun 9am-2pm, call us at 530-824-1985 or apply online at http://www.secondchancepetrescue.org/adoption-application.html
