Gabriel's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and declawed.

Gabriel's Story...
Gabriel is looking for a home with an experienced cat owner! He was surrendered to the city shelter and was extremely overweight and matted. He has been in foster care and with a strict diet has lost some weight but needs to lose more! Due to his weight, he has a hard time grooming himself and sometimes needs help with that. However, he is not a big fan of being brushed. He is great with other cats but would not do well in a home with dogs. If you would like to meet him, please fill out an adoption application at facespayneuter.org. Then, a meet and greet can be scheduled.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gabriel, a Indianapolis Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Indianapolis, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Indianapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indianapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indianapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indianapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
