My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Duncan is somewhere between 1-2 years old and can be timid meeting new people but comes to life once he knows you. He is a very affectionate, loving, kind, happy and playful boy who only wants your love. Duncan loves to follow you around, plays fetch, tug and enjoys the baby pool. He is learning lots of new things and has already conquered being comfortable in his crate, going potty outside, sitting for a treat, and basic house manners. He is a happy boy and wants to be by your side watching everything you do. Duncan is good with other dogs and when crated watches the cat move around with no interest, so he may be fine in a home with kitties with training of course. Duncan found himself at a scary high kill shelter where he shut down, hiding in the corner praying no one would see how scared he was but hoping someone would come save him. When we saw his photo hearing that he would not be placed up for adoption he came to us. Duncan has so much he wants to give his new mommy or daddy and will give tons back in return for becoming his new best friend. He rides well in a car for short distances but long hauls he can get car sick. A home with no children is recommended. Because he is so shy it would be best to drive to fort morgan, co and spend some time with him and if all goes well we will bring him to your house. We do not want him to feel that he is being abandoned again and we hope you understand, trust us, he is well worth the time
