Seven Kittens's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

This bundle of sweet kittens are hoping to be hme for the holidays so we need a lot of help with that goal.

This happy litter of kittens are now four months old. We have four males and three females and they all are looking for a HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS.  Can you help?  Call the Second Chance Thrift Store at 530-233-9277 if you are interested in adopting one or two.  We will spay and neuter them within the week so that they can go Home for the Holidays.

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Seven Kittens, a Alturas Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Alturas, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Alturas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alturas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alturas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alturas paves the way for another one to be saved.
