Quill was with a group of puppies that arrived at the League from another shelter. He is still very young but because he had not been socialized with people before he came to us Quill was very tense and anxious. It didn't help that he was sick and had to be treated and isolated for a while. He is much better now so our trainer is working with him along with several volunteers to increase his comfort level around people, noises, other dogs, leashes and collars, etc. He is now in a loving foster home where he is doing well. This little guy will need an adopter who will continue to help him with his trust and confidence. Another dog in the home will also help with Quill's development. Quill is a sweet dog who will blossom in a home where he will have a stable routine and a loving family. To meet Quill contact the shelter so arrangements can be made for a meet and greet.
Puppy adoptions (6 months and younger) are $200. The puppy fee includes a wellness check and a follow-up set of vaccines at the League. Dog adoptions are $125. All our dogs have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm tested.
