Vern's Story...
Hi, this is Vern. Vern is an approximately 10 month old Shiba Inu and Basenji and probably Beagle too. He was found hanging out at a bus stop on a very busy intersection. He was so playful with the crowd at the bus stop. He is good with people, children, dogs, and maybe cats.

Vern is a small to medium dog and weighs about 25 pounds. He has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, fecal test done, frontlined, and microchipped. Contact: jessbrad12@socal.rr.com or 323-385-8993 .

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Vern, a West Los Angeles Shiba Inu/Basenji dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shiba Inu/Basenji for sale in West Los Angeles, or seeking a Shiba Inu/Basenji dog from a breeder in West Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shiba Inu/Basenji breeders who help with Shiba Inu/Basenji rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
