Facts about Lady

  • Breed: Australian Shepherd/Border Collie Mix
  • Color: Merle
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Lady is a beautiful 1 yr old Aussie, Border Collie mix who needs a loving home with lots of room to run in. She LOVES to go swimming, long boarding ( she will pull you on your skateboard knowing commands to stop, go left, go right) , easily trainable and she has a history of herding. With her herding skills, if you have kids we ask that they be 10 years old or older because she will chase them and reel them in. She is a bit timid at first but after 24 hours she's an absolute sweet heart. Shes been great with all my dogs (15 others) big and small and hasn't had a problem. She's doggy door trained and kennel trained.

About Follow Your Heart Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

The Follow Your Heart Foundation is committed to preventing the unnecessary euthanization and abuse of abandoned and/or abused animals.

In order to fulfill this mission, Follow Your Heart will engage in the following activities:

Foster Program-Animals will be rescued from shelters and placed in temporary foster homes to save them from being euthanized. During this time, animals will be provided with proper nutrition, shelter and analysis to determine appropriate long term housing.

Adoption Services - the organization will work to find each animal that is rescued a forever home that is willing and able to make the long term commitment to a family pet.

Public Education - Abuse, neglect and irresponsible pet ownership leads to thousands of animals being killed each year. One way to combat these issues is through continued public education to not only raise awareness about animal abuse, but also promote responsible pet ownership.

Medical Treatment - Animals rescued will be provided proper medical treatment as needed.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Adoption events are held every Saturday at our Mesa Petsmart at 1858 S Signal Butte Rd. We also have an adoption center at Superstition Springs Mall. Our hours are Wednesday through Sunday from 12:00 until 5:00.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption fees range from $75-$600. All of our rescues require an adoption application to be filled out.
