Now Ida is a Diamond Dog and, once again, she is being overlooked as "just another hound dog". She has broken my heart! Maybe it's the look of "please pick me" or the way she lays down and always shows her belly for a rub...I don't know. I just can't get her face out of my mind.
Ida was given up because she was "lacking in hunting skills". She was too friendly. She was a good girl, but not a good "hunting" girl. She has been fully vetted, spayed, microchipped and has been trainer evaluation. You can get a full copy of that evaluation by going to her Facebook page at:
A RESCUE'S JOURNEY- MEET IDA CLAIRE
This black and tan coonhound is full of personality and is thought to be around 3 years old. Her looks are striking because of her white fur rimmed eyes. She loves belly rubs and food, is good around all dogs who she stops to greet with tail wagging when passing their kennels. She weighs around 50lbs and is a "just right" size.
Please consider adopting our girl so she can learn about "love in a home"
