Meet Falafel, a sweet little lady who's ready to cuddle! At first, Falafel was very shy in her foster home, but she has turned into a loving lap cat. She follows you around, just in case you feel like petting her or brushing her, and will sleep in your bed. Part of her progress can be credited to her foster brother, Hummus. These two would make a terrific pair for life. They love to snuggle, wrestle and bathe together. Falafel will play with almost anything... as long as Hummus tries it out first. And she likes to meet new people... as long as Hummus meets them first. She's also quite smart-she seems to understand the word 'no and will come when called. Falafel hasn't met any dogs or kids, but she may be able to adjust since she's such an affectionate kitty. Falafel is FeLV+ (Feline Leukemia Virus), which causes a weakened immune system and requires special care. APA! provides some medical assistance after adoption. Cats with FeLV typically have a shortened lifespan. Falafel is not contagious to people or dogs, but should live only with other FeLV+ cats.
