Facts about Sara

  • Age: Puppy
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female
When my friend in Georgia reached out to me about Sara she asked if we could help find this puppy a home. Sara had been abandoned and my friend, Vicki said she was about dead from anemia due to fleas.

Year ago Vickie adopted a Diamond dog and has always been a great supporter of our rescue. She's one of those people who doesn't just "talk" rescue, when this puppy was left abandoned, she took her and and personally vetted and cared for her needs to help her fins a forever home.

Right now Sara is still in GA. She is fully vetted, spayed and UTD on all vaccines. She's around 14-15 months old and is so very sweet. The personality of Sara already shines at this young age.

She's almost potty trained, uses puppy pad when mom is at work. She's good with other dogs and cats and has had some introduction to leash walking BUT....

If you've been looking for the "right" puppy, consider Sara. She's a hound mix that will likely grow to be around 45-50lbs. She's the right age to begin with her training. Basic obedience training to raise a well mannered dog should be a priority for every dog. Start with puppy obedience classes and expect to dedicate basic training time every day. Sensitive souls like the hound will respond to consistent, positive training methods.
