Our Adoption Process...
Once an animal is chosen for adoption an application will be filled out. With the application a $25.00 check or cash deposit will be left. That will hold the animal of choice for 72 hours. During that time, the application will be reviewed by the Director. If the possible adopter has or had animals, we will look to make sure they were kept up on required vaccinations. Within the 72 hour period we will contact the possible adopter and let them know our decision. From there, they will come in and pay the remainder of the adoption fee. Total fee for dogs $95, total fee for cats $70. At that time, the Adoption Agreement and microchip information will be completed. The animal will then be vaccinated against rabies, microchipped, and surgery will be scheduled. The adopted animal will be picked up from the vet by adopter after surgery.
