Molly's Story...

Hi everyone, I am Molly and I am a new addition to CBHR. Thank Goodness I was saved just in the nick of time. Don't let my gray coloring fool you...I am no old lady. I just grayed a little early. I am loving and spunky and would love to be a member of your family. I am good with other dogs (just check out my picture with my foster brother, Brat!) and love people. Please give me a new home!! 03/18/11

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Molly, a Charleston Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound for sale in Charleston, or seeking a Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Charleston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charleston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charleston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound breeders who help with Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charleston paves the way for another one to be saved.
