MORE INFO ABOUT ME:
Hi and thanks for dropping by!! My name is Miss TARA and I am somewhere in the 10-12ish yrs old range. Originally I was found wandering in someone's back yard. The people were real nice and actually found my home for me but my owners decided that they didnt want me anymore because i was "too old". So, off to the pound i went. Well, it's been all fun and games since then!! I really lucked out because those girls at the pound knew just who to call to help me out! Now I'm in this cool rescue with a new foster mom and dad, 1 human foster brother and 4 other foster doggie siblings and we all get along just great!! Some things about me.....well, as you may have guessed I am waaaaay past the chewing things up stage lol. As a matter of fact about half of my teeth have come up missing. BUT, that does NOT stop me from eating!!!! I LOVE me some chow time!! I also enjoy taking short walks with my foster mom and walk pretty good on a leash. My potty habits are GREAT but keep in mind that a new home will mean new schedules so you must provide me with the proper guidance. I ride great in the car and have no trouble finding just the right spot for maximum comfort to curl up on. I have shown absolutely no aggression of any kind with dogs nor humans. We don't really know if I'm able to be crated simply because I am so well behaved that it has never been necessary. I may be more well seasoned than some of the other dogs looking for homes but don't let my age fool you because I have too much happiness and love to give to even begin to call it quits!! All of my vetting has been complete and I am sad to say that because i was obviously not supplied with proper monthly prevention in my previous life, I tested positive for Lyme Disease....those darn mosquitos got me!! BUT, I took my full course of medications and I am already feeling better!! I am also happy to say that I have put on some much needed weight since I've been in rescue as well. I guess you could say that all in all, I am doing better than ever with only 1 thing missing,,,,,,a new permanent home with a loving family to spend my remaining time with. If you think it may be your home and your family then fill out that application so the girls here can see if we are a good fit for each other!! love, tara x0x0x0
