Hello my name is Charlie and I arrived with my siblings on 7/10/17. I am a neutered male around 3 ½ months old. I am a typical happy, playful kitten who loves to play with my toys and my fellow kitten friends. I am looking for my loving forever home! My adoption fee is $52.75 with tax. I am neutered, current on my rabies & distemper vaccinations, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, on flea preventative, de-wormed and I have a microchip as well. If you are interested in me you can fill out an adoption application on our website at www.adamscountyhumanesociety.org to get pre-approved if you like. Filling out an application does not tie you down to me it just gets the paperwork out of the way so if I am a good match for your family you can do same day adoption when you come to meet me.

If you can't have a cat but want to help me find a home sooner you can help by sponsoring part or all of my adoption fee. You can do this by making a donation through our PayPal button on the website, put that the donation is for my adoption fee in the comment section. All donations are tax deductible.

About Adams County Humane Society

Our Adoption Process...

Congratulations on your decision to adopt an animal companion for your family. The Adams County Humane Society is happy you are considering adoption from our shelter. The goal of the ACHS is to find permanent, loving, forever homes for the animals in our facility. We do not adopt on a first come first served basis, but what home is the best fit for that particular animal. We do not hold animals for adoption more than a day and only after an application has been pre-approved. Our goal is to match the best animal for your lifestyle and family. Please complete the adoption application completely, as incomplete applications will drastically slow down the process and the animal you are looking at may be adopted before we can complete processing your application.

In order to be considered for adoption, you must:
* Be 21 years of age or if under 21 you must be a home owner. Proof of ownership may be required.
* Current pets must be up to date on rabies and distemper vaccinations.
* ACHS will check with landlords for approval of pets in rental homes/apartments/condos. If you live at home with your parents we will have to call them as well as they are the home owners. It is always a good idea to touch base with your landlord letting them know you are looking for an animal before we call them.
