Pawdrey Hepburn's Story...
Pawdry is becoming more approachable and trusting but she is still very reserved. She purrs when we pick her up, though she doesn't want to be held long. I can pet her when she's eating and when she's lounging and likes it. She still backs away when we walk up to her. However, she is not shy with her brother and will let him know that she will not be pushed around. Elvis Catsley and Pawdrey Hepburn are a bonded pair. They are looking for a home with experienced cat owners who can continue to bring them out of their shell. If you are interested in meeting them, please fill out an adoption application at facespayneuter.org/adoptions/. Then a meet and greet can be scheduled.
FACE and IndyFeral are two like minded organizations who have recently merged to help more cats and dogs in Indianapolis. We are committed to ending pet overpopulation by providing affordable and accessible spaying/neutering as well as wellness services. We also promote adoption, rather than buying or breeding. FACE focuses on owned cats and dogs while IndyFeral seeks to reduce the stray and feral cat overpopulation in Indianapolis through the non-lethal method of Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), not trap and kill.
Our Adoption Process...
All of our cats and dogs available for adoption have been spay/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested for feline leukemia/FIV or heartworm. A simple application for adoption is required and is designed to increase the likelihood that any cat or dog we adopt will have a secure home environment for the remainder of his/her life. The adoption fee is only $100 for dogs and between $50-$75 for cats and includes all of the above. A great deal.
