My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Honey is a very special dog, between 2-3 years old and 46#. She has endured a lot of hardship and has remained the most loving and affectionate dog to people, the very ones who betrayed her. She was used for breeding and was tossed out with Freckles (also on the site) and their 6 babies. Honey was attacked by two coyotes protecting her puppies and fortunately only suffered a puncture wound when her rescuer intervened. Pictures available of her dog family. She will be treated for heartworms and then be ready for her forever home. This is a very special girl who deserves a person or family that will make her #1. Would probably be best as the only dog. She is house and crate trained, does well on a leash and never jumps on people. She would love to be a lap dog. This is a fantastic dog!!!
This baby wants to give and receive love. What a love!!!
This dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested positive for heartworms and will be fully treated by CPR before going to her new home. The adoption fee is $375 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
