Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Franklin was adopted from Friendship as a puppy. He's a 2 year old unique blend of Bassett Hound and Boxer. He was recently returned due to his family moving into a new place that does not accept pets. Franklin signals he has to go out by going to the door or staring at you intently. He enjoys playing with squeak toys. This boy would go outside in the yard off-leash and stay with owners. **Please don't try this if you adopt him until he knows his boundaries. He has not been with cats. His owners said he is good with children. Frank will lay by you during down-time and tv time. He was mostly attached to the wife and followed her through the house. He can be fearful of certain sounds. Franklin has been very scared since arrival. Please take it slow when visiting.
If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.
All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
