Sherwood's Story...
Sherwood is a Pomeranian Mix (breed unknown) and looks a little like a fox, a soft red coat with some white and a black snout! He is clever and handsome like one too. Sherwood loves to play, enjoys toys and other dogs. He is about 12 lbs, neutered and up to date on his Vaccines. He is a shelter pet so we don't know what his experiences are with children, but he seems OK with most everyone here. Older kids, and no cats are preferred. Located in Hopewell Junction, NY , about thirty five minutes west of Danbury Fair Mall, his adoption fee is $350.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sherwood, a Newtown Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Newtown, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Newtown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newtown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newtown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newtown paves the way for another one to be saved.
